Steward's Report
Sugar Bowl Rose, Xun Bale, Miracle Belle and Pull Start Pumba were quick to begin.
Hydro Glide, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind spike wound injury.. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr K Ashton regarding Hydro Glide’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Hydro Glide was charged with marring. Mr K Ashton pleaded guilty to the charge. Hydro Glide was suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
