Steward's Report
Foxy Faun and Family Tree were quick to begin. Flax Mill was slow to begin.
Oscar Orca - severely checked and fell first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left shoulder. Oscar Orca was humanely euthanised.
Drop Fifty - severely checked and faltered first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right trapezius injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post -race sample was taken from Family Tree the winner of the event.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
