Steward's Report
Like Wildfire was quick to begin.
Voice Of Thunder (visibly eased and turned it's head outwards turning out of the back straight on the second occasion) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Graeme Jose regarding Voice Of Thunder’s racing manners turning out of the back straight on the second occasion. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Voice Of Thunder was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Jose pleaded guilty to the charge. Voice Of Thunder must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
