Steward's Report
Vega Black was slow to begin.
Drill Sergeant (performed below market expectations) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Shane Drummond regarding the performance of the greyhound. Mr Drummond explained that the greyhound received some interference in the run and may not have been suited by the harrowed track conditions.
A post–race sample was taken from Vega Black – the winner of the event.
