Steward's Report
Misty Black was quick to begin. Zipping Luda was slow to begin.
Airtime Infrared turned its head to the outside and visibly eased turning into the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 8. Airtime Infrared was found to have a right carpal sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr John Coburn regarding Airtime Infrared’s racing manners turning into the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Airtime Infrared was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Coburn pleaded guilty to the charge. Airtime Infrared must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Zipping Luda – the winner of the event.
