Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Sweaty Hand.
Stewards held the All Clear due to a malfunction with the lure causing the lure to slow down and pull up soon after the start. Pursuant to GAR 110 the event was declared to be a ‘No Race’. All bets are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. The event was then abandoned, with prizemoney split evenly between the greyhounds which competed in the No Race.
All greyhounds underwent a post-race veterinary examination.
Jack's Cracker, Dr. Brooklynn, Howe Pie and Sweaty Hand - no apparent injury was reported.
Nibiru - was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.
Dr. Callie - was found to have a left long head triceps muscle injury and a left deltoid muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Just A Jester - was found to have abraded webbing of the right hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Long Way Home - was found to have a spike wound to the left fore foot, a left long head triceps muscle injury and and a left deltoid muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period wa imposed.
