Steward's Report
Eskimo Gem was quick to begin. Flax Mill was slow to begin.
Popcorn Miss ( severely checked and fell first turn ), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a neck injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Deltoid (checked by the fallen Popcorn Miss, lost ground over concluding stages) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
