Steward's Report
Uncle Dave – Late scratching at 10:57am when Mr L.Carbone reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Magnet Mover was quick to begin. Dark Before Dawn was very slow to begin (4 lengths).
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Kevin Ross regarding the racing manners of Dark Before Dawn in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Ross, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
