Steward's Report
This event was rescheduled to 2:22pm.
Atomic Jax, Intrepid Cruiser and Supinator were slow to begin.
Intrepid Cruiser faltered soon after the start and subsequently tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed left wrist and left flexor tendon injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Darren Petersen declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Petersen regarding the greyhound's performance and racing manners throughout the event. After hearing submissions from Mr Petersen, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Intrepid Cruiser unsatisfactory. Intrepid Cruiser must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
