Steward's Report
Akashic and Sippy Cup Emu were slow to begin.
Chasing Gold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a seizure . A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Chasing Gold is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a Satisfactory Trial is completed pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42(3), Chasing Gold is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.
Sippy Cup Emu raced awkwardly turning out of the home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
