Steward's Report
Reasons Unknown was slow to begin. Blue Scotch Boy raced wide in the home straight.
Airtime Infrared (eased and turned its head inwards on the home turn and again in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B.Milne regarding Airtime Infrared’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Airtime Infrared was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Milne pleaded guilty to the charge. Airtime Infrared was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
