Steward's Report
Whisky Jess was quick to begin. Jumbuk Star and Hay Riley were slow to begin.
Jumbuk Star faltered and lost ground approaching the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury and spike wound. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Lindsay Fulford regarding the racing manners off Hay Riley on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Fulford, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
