Rio Ripley lost ground in the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hind back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Aralunya fell in the catching pen and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
