Burn The Witch and Mr. Fahrenheit were quick to begin. Sandy Taupe and Sovereign State were slow to begin.
Burn The Witch was servely checked on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Sovereign State fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have long head triceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
