Steward's Report
Backline Pie – New declared weight of 31.4kg, last raced at 32.7kg.
Run Kitty Run, Magical Star and Evie Pops were quick to begin. Backline Pie and Rapid Paws were slow to begin.
Evie Pops (severely checked and fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have fractured the right wrist and left fore leg. Evie Pops was humanely euthanised.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
