Steward's Report
Danyo's Boar – Late scratching at 7.52m due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. D. Sheridan, was fined $100.
A pre–race sample was taken from Spanish Bullet.
Where The Forman and Rise Brae were quick to begin. Keech was slow to begin.
Queen Hornet (checked off Intrepid Lad approaching the first turn, faltered and tailed off), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right triangle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
