Mysterious Minds, Motor Head Maxim and Blazer Trail were quick to begin.

Mysterious Minds failed to pursue the lure with due commitment in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right deltoid. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  

Stewards spoke to Ms A Drew regarding Mysterious Minds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Mysterious Minds was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms A Drew pleaded guilty to the charge. Mysterious Minds was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Stewards spoke to representative Brad Keel regarding the racing manners of Queston Bale in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Keel, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

A pre–race sample was taken from Hollywood Franky. 

Moraine Mia and Urana Zoom were quick to begin. Hollywood Franky was slow to begin.

A pre–race sample was taken from Crocodile Bite.

Crocodile Bite and Lektra Shane were quick to begin.

Fiery Flirt - checked and fell turn off back straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Lektra Shane - checked and fell turn off back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tricep muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre–race sample was taken from Lothbrok Girl. 

Captain Bender and Gastrocenemis were quick to begin.

A pre–race sample was taken from Xile Bale. 

Boggy Dozer and Matt Loch were quick to begin. Willa Bale was slow to begin.

A post–race sample was taken from Matt Loch– the winner of the event.

A pre–race sample was taken from Raven Quail. 

Let Fly was quick to begin. Majestic Bale was slow to begin.

Majestic Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have split webbing to the right foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre–race sample was taken from Pavlov Bale. 

Bella Sugar and Glory Boy were quick to begin.

Pavlov Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a spike wound to the left foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lektra Vera underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a dislocated right hind toe. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre–race sample was taken from Spaghetti Legs. 

Ice Bath Forth was quick to begin. Iason Bale was slow to begin.

Cashing Cheques - checked and lost ground first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hindleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr C Treherne regarding Cashing Cheques overall performance in the event . In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr C Treherne to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Cashing Cheques in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Rebel Max and Michigan Mia were quick to begin. Leena Bale and Full Speed Ahead were slow to begin.

Leena Bale - (raced wide home turn and collided with Oscar Deeds) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to representative Patrick Farr regarding the racing manners of Leena Bale on the home turn. After hearing submissions from representative Mr  Farr, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections. 

A pre–race sample was taken from Stromboli. 

West On Strobe and Mirabella Bale were quick to begin. One More Run was slow to begin.

Escape Way was quick to begin. He's Classified was slow to begin.

He's Classified - checked first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor abrasion to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed. 

Hellboy underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have bruising to both triceps. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre race sample was taken from Sofia Riot.

Sassy Skye checked and raced wide home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have long head triceps muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
