Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Jaricho Bale.
Thunder Path and Butterworth Bale were slow to begin. Thunder Path, Chandler Bale and Heavenly Path collided soon after the start. Little Tsonga and Laura Allen collided approaching the first turn. Chandler Bale, Victa Bale, Little Tsonga and Laura Allen collided on the first turn checking Little Tsonga and Laura Allen. Thunder Path, Little Tsonga and Laura Allen collided approaching the home turn. Jaricho Bale checked off Little Tsonga approaching the home turn. Chandler Bale, Victa Bale and Heavenly Path collided approaching the home turn checking Chandler Bale. Heavenly Path and Thunder Path collided on the home turn. Chandler Bale and Jaricho Bale collided on the home turn severely checking Chandler Bale which tailed off as a result.
Chandler Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left hock and right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
