Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Kurzke.
Good Odds Devil was quick to begin. Levi's Huracan was slow to begin. Whistler Bale and Emma Belle collided soon after the start. Whistler Bale, Emma Belle and Ousai Bale collided approaching the first turn. Whistler Bale, Emma Belle, Ousai Bale, Kurzke and Kalimna Star collided on the first turn checking Emma Belle, Seabrook Shan and Ousai Bale. Levi's Huracan, Kurzke and Kalimna Star collided approaching the second turn. Levi's Huracan galloped on the heels of Kalimna Star on the second turn. Levi's Huracan, Ousai Bale and Kalimna Star collided entering the back straight checking Kurzke and Kalimna Star. Emma Belle and Kurzke collided on the third turn checking Seabrook Shan. Levi's Huracan and Ousai Bale collided in the home straight. Good Odds Devil tired over the concluding stages of this event.
Good Odds Devil was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hamstring and right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Meeting Conditions:
Track Curator, Mr C. Hiscock, advised Stewards that the track was deep harrowed on Sunday, 14 September.
