Steward's Report

Alfie Solomon – Late scratching at 8.37pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a lacerated left ear. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre–race sample was taken from Opal Key.
In The Orange was slow to begin.
A post–race sample was taken from Pi Grange – the winner of the event.
Texacali Sweety - faltered on the first turn , underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
