A pre–race sample was taken from Wishing Well.
Know Ethics and Wishing Well were quick to begin. Hello Lynda was slow to begin.
Gung Ho Hunter (lost ground approaching the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Jordan Formosa regarding Gung Ho Hunters overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Formosa to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Gung Ho Hunter in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
