Steward's Report
Clara Stella was quick to begin. Mr. Larson was slow to begin.
Mini Minion raced wide in the home straight.
Mr. Larson (contacted the running rail on the first turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Perfect Timing underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a mouth lesion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Greg Turnbull regarding Perfect Timing's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Perfect Timing was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Turnbull pled guilty to the charge. Perfect Timing was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
