Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Where Is He.
Calypso Queen, Flywheel Cracker and Molly Supreme were quick to begin. Banderillero was slow to begin.
Where Is He was galloped on by Calypso Queen on the first turn and severely checked, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg spike wound and left hock abrasions. No stand down period was imposed.
Devil's Noir underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Johari, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right long head triceps muscle injury and left hindleg split webbing. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Damian Meade regarding Johari’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Johari was charged with marring. Mr Meade pled guilty to the charge, Johari was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Molly Supreme – the winner of the event.
