Steward's Report
Zar Zar Bing and Queen Hornet were slow to begin.
Tenerife, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right hock sprain, right triangle injury, left back muscle injury and right foreleg shin soreness. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Trevor Whitford regarding Tenerife’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Tenerife was charged with marring. Mr. Whitford did not enter a plea to the charge, Tenerife was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
