Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Northern Regie.
Aston Autumn was slow to begin.
Golden Coast underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a abrasion to the left achilles. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Ms Kylie Norton regarding the greyhound escaping the catching pen. Acting in accordance with GAR 129 and being mindful of the safety of Golden Coast, other greyhounds in the race, staff and participants, Stewards were not satisfied with the performance and placed Golden Coast on a satisfactory trial under GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, with the condition that Golden Coast must run and remain in the catching pen in order to pass the satisfactory trial, before future nominations will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Idaho Evie – the winner of the event.
