Home Invader was quick to begin.
Lektra Raffa played no competitive part in the event, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Robert Taylor concerning Lektra Raffa's performance in the event. Mr. Taylor stated he was surprised by Lektra Raffa's poor performance and that he anticipated the greyhound had a winning chance in the event. After hearing submissions from Mr. Taylor, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
