Steward's Report
Bye Georgie – Late scratching at 17:41pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards interviewed Mrs Judith McMahon, the trainer representative of Dr. Chieftain and Dr. Audrey in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race. Mrs McMahon stated that when checked this morning Dr. Chieftain was showing lameness in the left fore-leg and Dr. Audrey was showing soreness on an on-going Achilles tendon injury. Acting in accordance with GAR 19(3)(w) Mrs McMahon was directed to produce a veterinary certificate of fitness for both greyhounds, before any further nominations are accepted.
