A pre-race sample was taken from Lara Long Legs.
Lara Long Legs was quick to begin. Noble Stone was slow to begin.
Tessa Orchid turned it's head outwards on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury and right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Haydn Wilkinson regarding Tessa Orchid’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Tessa Orchid was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Mr. Wilkinson pled guilty to the charge, Tessa Orchid was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
