A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Isaac.
Brindle Mist was slow to begin. Lilly's Hand, Comicn Hero, River Bling and Aston Isaac collided soon after the start. Aston Isaac checked off Blue Winter on the first turn. Blue Winter checked off Fawn Kara approaching the home turn. Won Wron Flyer and Fawn Kara collided approaching the home turn checking Fawn Kara. Comic Hero raced wide approaching the home turn.
Comic Hero was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left pencil muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
