Hula and Grand Slam Diva were slow to begin. Black Taffeta and Super Bronie collided approaching the first turn. Hymie, Warami Sam, Super Bronie and Immeasurable collided on the first turn, checking Hymie and severely checking Warami Sam and Super Bronie. Hula and Hymie collided on the first turn checking Hula which collided with Warami Sam and Super Bronie causing Hula to fall and checking Super Bronie as a result. Angel Of Music raced wide entering the home straight.
