Elbo Bale, Cruising Thyme and Elite Tornado were slow to begin. Sanz Gold and Occupation Lad collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Sanz Gold. Sanz Gold and Necro Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Necro Bale. Cruising Thyme contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Elite Tornado faltered approaching the winning post.

Elite Tornado was vetted following the event and it was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left monkey and right pencil muscles.  A  10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to M Lloyd, handler of Elite Tornado in regards to the actions of the greyhound over the concluding stages. Mr Lloyd stated that the greyhound had faltered and was unable to drive from behind as a result of the injury sustained. Acting on their observation and taking evidence from Dr Holmes, Stewards noted the comments of Mr Lloyd and took no further action.

Fear The Best was quick to begin. Stealthy Who was slow to begin. Stealthy Who, Ultima Bale and Tear Away Kuda collided soon after the start checking Ultima Bale and Stealthy Who. Got Held Up checked off Bold Caper approaching the first turn. Got Held Up checked off Bold Caper approaching the first turn. Got Held Up and Stealthy Who collided approaching the home turn checking Stealthy Who which contacted the running rail. Got Held Up and Hashtag Jordan collided approaching the home turn checking Hashtag Jordan which collided with Tear Away Kuda. Got Held Up and Gustow Bale collided on the home turn.

Miss Cloud Nine and Libstar collided soon after the start checking Libstar.  Cosmic Buddy and Mordor Bale collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mazzetti galloped on the heels of Miss Cloud Nine approaching the home turn, checking Monaleen Comet.  Libstar galloped on the heels of Star Shaker approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Gavin, trainer of Cosmic Buddy and reminded him of his responsibilities in ensuring that he places his greyhound in the correct kennel after the completion of the event.

Cosmic Tate and Mepunga Jess were slow to begin. Storm Force and Miss Monaleen collided approaching the first turn. Lots Of Yap checked off Storm Force on the first turn. Miss Monaleen galloped on the heels of Seabrook Joel on the home turn, checking Miss Monaleen. Seabrook Joel checked off Governor Bale in the home straight. Lots Of Yap checked off Storm Force in the home straight.

Flying Alf and Dyna Chaser collided soon after the start checking Flying Alf. Barn A Shakin checked off Dyna Chaser approaching the first turn. Magneto Bale and Tap And Go collided on the first turn checking Magneto Bale and Flying Alf. Barn A Shakin galloped on the heels of Angsana approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Ennis Bale was slow to begin. We're Off Here and Dyna Malaise collided soon after the start. Elly's Dream checked off We're Off Here on the first turn.

Ennis Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr M Gibbons, handler of Ennis Bale which performed below market expectations. Mr Gibbons stated that the performance of the greyhound was dissapointing but could offer no further explanation other than the injury sustained by the greyhound. Stewards accepted the comments of Mr Gibbons and directed that a sample be taken from Ennis Bale.

Volcanic Rock and Skinny Vinne collided approaching the first turn. Volcanic Rock and Dyna Norfolk collided approaching the home turn.

Volcanic Rock was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Cudgee Destroyer, Prancing Lad and Mepunga Ledger were slow to begin. Coup D'etat and Azza Azza Azza collided soon after the start. Cudgee Destroyer and Coup D'etat collided approaching the first turn checking Cudgee Destroyer. Black Superman and Coup D'etat collided on the first turn checking Black Superman, Coup D'etat and Cudgee Destroyer. Black Superman checked off Cudgee Destroyer approaching the home turn. Prancing Lad and Black Superman collided in the home straight.

Coup D'etat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left and right feet. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Trainer A Marum and advised him that a veterinary certificate confirming illness was required for the greyhound Sir Tim.

Bean Nue Koonora was slow to begin. Keep Calm and Cairnlea Ellie collided approaching the first turn. Suki Suki and Keep Calm collided approaching the home turn. Cairnlea Ellie and Rick The Rock collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.

Twentyfour Carat was slow to begin. Starvin' Seagull, Essentially, Terra Verde and Dee Tee collided soon after the start checking Terra Verde. Starvin' Seagull, Essentially and Dee Tee collided approaching the first turn checking Terra Verde and severely checking Starvin' Seagull and Essentially. Belfort and Twycroft Betty collided approaching the home turn checking Twycroft Betty.

Essentially was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle and grazes to the left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Terra Verde was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dugan and Maybe Now were slow to begin. Maybe Now faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Tik Tok Boom and Dugan collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Dugan.

Maybe Now was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right monkey muscles and the right fore pad, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Jacovella and Elite Tulip were slow to begin. Elite Tulip, Mermaid Millie and Platinum Emotion collided soon after the start checking Mermaid Mille and Platinum Emotion. Miss Jacovella and Mermaid Millie collided on the first turn checking Mermaid Millie. Elite Circle checked off Haggis Lad approaching the home turn.

Mermaid Millie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
