In My Pocket veered out and marred Udellar Bale approaching the winning post.
In My Pocket underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Martin Galea regarding In My Pocket's racing manners approaching the winning post.. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 In My Pocket was charged with marring. Mr. Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, In My Pocket was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127 and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
