Steward's Report
Mr Geoffrey Green was fined $100 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Bomber's Smokey & Bomber's Reward pursuant to GAR 88.
Nixon Bale – The frequency of racing was discussed with Ms Tammy Kennedy-Harris, the comments were noted.
A pre–race sample was taken from Mechanics Kismet.
Bomber's Smokey and Mechanics Kismet were quick to begin. Enraged was very slow to begin (4 lenghts).
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Nixon Bale became dislodged during the running of the event.
Spicey Piper collided with Nixon Bale soon after the start and subsequently fell. Spicey Piper underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg carpal sprain injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Nixon Bale - frequency of racing, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg abrasion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
