Elswyk Jordy – Late scratching at 1.44pm by Order of Stewards, pursuant to several components of GAR 78 & GAR 34 (5) and (7). Pursuant to GAR 78 (3) - Elswyk Jordy is prohibited from competing in any Event until the Stewards are satisfied that the basis upon which the scratching was made, no longer exists.
Alfie Solomon was quick to begin. Alice Morgan was slow to begin.
Alfie solomon was severely checked in the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Berdeen contacted the running rail in the 1st turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left front leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
