Daimler Bale and Thai Gem were slow to begin.
Daimler Bale (marred Break The Clouds approaching the winning post) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to representative Ms D. Coleman regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Daimler Bale was charged with marring. Ms Coleman pled not guilty to the charge, Daimler Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
