Steward's Report
Jayville Mac marred Romena Charm in the home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Michael Chilcott regarding Jayville Mac’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Jayville Mac was charged with marring. Mr Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Jayville Mac was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Prince Of Melton - the winner of the event.
