Uthred's Voice– Late scratching at 16:33 whenTrainer Bryan Sykes reported the greyhound to have an elevated temperature (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Aston Beaufort was quick to begin.
Honey Rose and Nicola Rose were slow to begin.
Nicola Rose underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Gerri Rose underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left Adductor injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr J. Chignell regarding Gerri Rose’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Gerri Rose was charged with marring. Mr Chignell, representative, pled not guilty to the charge, Gerri Rose was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
