Fedele's Flame was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both triangle muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J.Formosa, the handler of the greyhound Fedele's Flame. Stewards deemed the performance of Fedele's Flame unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Fedele's Flame must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
