Steward's Report
Rumour Is Fact was quick to begin. Mr. Neo and Hugo were slow to begin.
Hugo lost ground in the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 8. Hugo was found to have a left hindleg biceps injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed Stewards spoke to Mrs Kerry Minne regarding the racing manners of Hugo. After hearing submissions from Mrs Minne, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post–race sample was taken from Soda Prince – the winner of the event
