Foxy Lulu was quick to begin. Rowdy Smith, Scenic Talk and Ando's Dynamo were slow to begin. Mendes checked off Lukey Parker approaching the first turn. Ellava Flyer checked off Foxy Lulu on the first turn. Foxy Lulu and Mendes collided on the first turn checking Foxy Lulu and severely checking Mendes which stumbled severely checking Mighty Boris and Ellava Flyer. Rowdy Smith and Ando's Dynamo collided on the first turn checking Ando's Dynamo. Mendes and Rowdy Smith collided approaching the home turn. Scenic Talk checked off Mendes on the home turn and raced wide checking Rowdy Smith.
