Willowvale Hawk was quick to begin.  Rocky Gibralter, Aston Isaac and Uncle Ant were slow to begin.  Rockabilly King crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Willowvale Hawk and Dr. Waugh severely checking Bruiser Bale.  Dr. Waugh checked off Aston Isaac entering the back straight checking Rocky Gibralter and Uncle Ant.  Whistler Bale, Willowvale Hawk, Rocky Gibralter and Uncle Ant collided on the second turn checking Rocky Gibralter and Uncle Ant.  Rockabilly King and Aston Isaac  collided on the home turn.  Bruiser Bale and Aston Isaac collided in the home straight.

Bruiser Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson, the handler of Bruiser Bale regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. After viewing the head on video footage, Stewards issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.

Musmacro Star and Buzzing Bell were slow to begin.  Lukey Parker was very slow to begin (4.5 lengths).  Ikara Bale and Canino collided approaching the first turn checking Canino.  Canino, Lukey Parker and Talented Miss collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Lukey Parker checked off Canino approaching the home turn and stumbled as a result.  Ikara Bale galloped on Buzzing Bell approaching the home turn.  Ikara Bale and Musmacro Star collided on the home turn checking Musmacro Star.  Buzzing Bell and Musmacro Star collided in the home straight checking Buzzing Bell.

Midori Halo was slow to begin.  Red Trump checked off Red Maxwell on the first turn.  Freesia Bale and Spirit Of Caity collided entering the back straight checking Spirit Of Caity and Red Trump.  Speedie Rioli checked off Sonny's Magic on the second turn checking Midori Halo, Freesia Bale and Red Trump.  Midori Halo, Freesia Bale and Speedie Rioli collided approaching the home turn checking Speedie Rioli.  Speedie Rioli and Spirit Of Caity collided approaching the home turn.

Osiris, Broad Betty, Fragility and Long Sigh were slow to begin.  Anna Ray Girl checked off Smashing Success approaching the first turn.  Osiris, Anna Ray Girl, Ruthless Girl and Fragility collided on the first turn checking Osiris, Anna Ray Girl and Broad Betty.  Giggly Girl and Ruthless Girl collided approaching the home turn checking Giggly Girl.  Smashing Success tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Smashing Success was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Les and Paragon Diamond were slow to begin.  Nifty Neveelk, Billy Buzzard and Alderaan collided soon after the start.  Nifty Neveelk and Alderaan collided on the first turn checking Alderaan.  Nifty Neveelk, That's About Me and Paragon Diamond collided approaching the home turn.  Paragon Diamond raced wide in the home straight.

 Paragon Diamond was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Wot Price Laurie was slow to  begin.    Champagne Shot crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Flying Casey.  Nimrod and Champagne Shot collided approaching the first turn checking Nimrod.  Happy Outlook clipped the heels of Nimrod on the first turn checking Happy Outlook, Flying Casey and Wot Price Laurie.  Flying Casey raced wide approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Cobra Bale was slow to begin.  Noah Rose was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Thunderlips, Winston Rose, Woofenden and Cobra Bale collided soon after the start checking Winston Rose.  Elegant Elle, Amaroo My Girl, Thunderlips and Woofenden collided on the first turn checking Thunderlips, Winston Rose, Cobra Bale and Noah Rose severely checking Fairy Lace which stumbled as a result and lost considerable ground.  Thunderlips and Cobra Bale collided in the back straight checking Cobra Bale.  Cobra Bale checked off Thunderlips approaching the home turn.

Stewards required Fairy Lace to be vetted following this event.  The handler Mr. T. Proctor was contacted by telephone and requested to re attend the course after leaving without having the greyhound vetted.  Fairy Lace was vetted a short time later,  it was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards took no further action in relation to Mr. Proctor leaving the course without having the greyhound vetted due to his prompt return.

Mr. C. Johannsen, trainer of Lunchless redeclared a new weight of 35.1kgs  for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).   Lunchless last raced at 36.5kgs.

Wait Til Dark was slow to begin.  Louie Neveelk, Flash Galo and Wait Til Dark collided approaching the first turn.  Louie Neveelk checked off Half Way There on the first turn.  Wait Til Dark and Parumba Corvette collided approaching the home turn checking Parumba Corvette.  Louie Neveelk, Half Way There and Parumba Corvette collided approaching the home turn checking Half Way There.

Lunchless was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Roy's Special was quick to begin.  My Name's Jessie was slow to begin.  Neliel Bale, Wot Price Danny, My Name's Jessie and Bark Simpson collided approaching the first turn checking My Name's Jessie.  Roy's Special, Disco and Jake's A Devil collided entering the back straight checking Disco.  Wot Price Danny checked off Neliel Bale approaching the second turn.  My Name's Jessie checked off Neliel Bale approaching the home turn.  Wild Last Stress and Jake's A Devil collided on the home turn checking Jake's A Devil.

Mr. Tee was quick to begin.  Rozehill Maisie and Allen Yakra were slow to begin.  Serious Darcy, Dashing Dave, Rozehill Maisie and Go On Then collided soon after the start.  Go On Then, Allen Yakra and Military Man collided approaching the first turn.  Dashing Dave, Allen Yakra and Military Man collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Serious Darcy and Allen Yakra collided on the home turn checking Allen Yakra.
