Jewel Bale checked off Marcus Joe soon after the start. Gimme Fuel, Ollie Bale and Allen Deed collided soon after the start checking Ollie Bale and Allen Deed. Humphrey Bale and Gimme Fuel collided on the first turn. Jewel Bale checked off Humphrey Bale approaching the second turn and collided with Tyronimo and Allen Deed; Jewel Bale was checked and Tyronimo and Allen Deed were severely checked as a result. Tyronimo faltered on the second turn and tailed off as a result.
Tyronimo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured/dislocated left hind toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
