Steward's Report
Tonto's Revenge – Late scratching at 7:38 am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Anthony Harding was fined $100.

Hey Tootle was quick to begin. Muttley's Crew was slow to begin.
Muttley's Crew turned its head inwards in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr James Forbes declined the option to have the greyhound re–vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Forbes, the trainer of Muttley's Crew regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Muttley's Crew was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Forbes pleaded guilty to the charge, Muttley's Crew was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
