Steward's Report
Due to the equipment that moves the 300m starting boxes on and off the track malfunctioning, which resulted in these boxes being unable to be moved onto the track for racing, the Stewards abandoned Race 4 at 12pm pursuant to GAR 111(4). All betting on greyhounds in this abandoned race are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds in this race are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. Prizemoney will be split evenly between the eligible greyhounds as at the time of abandonment.
Race 5, 6, 7 and 8 which are programmed to be run over 350m, will run as scheduled.
