A pre-race sample was unable to be taken from Always My Way, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Action Girl, Cashing Cheques and Zella Bale were quick to begin. Always My Way was slow to begin.
Matt's Hope (checked home turn and lost ground approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left fore and left hind feet. No stand down period was imposed
