Steward's Report
A race day sample was taken from Wizardry Things at the trainer’s kennel, earlier today.
A pre–race sample was taken from Spirit World.
Demon Flyer and Wizardry Things were quick to begin. Spirit Wolrd was slow to begin.
Acclaimed, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg carpal sprain injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr John Taylor regarding Acclaimed’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Acclaimed was charged with marring Demon Flyer. Mr Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge, Acclaimed was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
