Trooper Tears was severely checked and fell on the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hind pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stealth was severely checked and fell on the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed injuries to the right shoulder muscle and left hock sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Post–race blood and urine samples were taken from Amron Boy – the winner of the event.
Post–race samples were taken from Kai Bale (2nd) and Dundee Smokey (3rd).
