A sample was taken from Snowy Rose upon arrival at the course.
Dr. Austin was slow to begin.
Lock it down underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg scapula fracture injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track in the back straight and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
