Ultra Bale was severly checked on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Ha Hanna underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the Trainer and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Spirit Energy, Rock Me Rocco and Ida Nancy were slow to begin.

Spirit Energy was severely checked soon after the start, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Fast Milkman - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Rebekah Dudley and reminded her of her responsibilities in relation to the proper transportation of greyhound's as per the code of practice, pursuant to GAR 156(w).

Stewards interviewed Mr Vito Inguanti, the trainer of Inga Zach in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race.

Ximena Bale and Life's Good were quick to begin. Audenzia was slow to begin.

Go Go Ringo – Late scratching at 08:15AM when trainer Mr Matthew Lanigan reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Star Blazer was slow to begin.

All Inn Chester tired from the third turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Shara Quinlan regarding the racing manners of All Inn Chester on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Ms Quinlan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

I'm Not Budging faltered entering the back straight and pulled up, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track turning into the back straight and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
