Steward's Report
A sample was unable to be obtained from Secret Racer upon arrival at the course; a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Secret Racer and Fabs Yam were slow to begin.
Be Graceful underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr Gary McMillan declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr McMillan regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 200m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124. Be Graceful was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Gary Mcmillan pled not guilty to the charge, Be Graceful was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
